We are delighted with the i-‐Boost Installation. It is sending so much electricity to the immersion heater that we are having to take extra showers to keep pace with it. We must be amongst the cleanest people in Swadlincote. That t is even after we have been lawn mowing, strimming, hedge trimming, ironing, washing and chain sawing etc.

Mark came and advised us on complementary lighting for our new kitchen and family room. We were firstly very pleased with his ideas and extensive knowledge of all the products. When the job was carried out it was done in a very professional, yet friendly manner. All through the works Mark was 100% reliable and trustworthy. The finished result was exactly as planned and we were very pleased with the results. So much so, we have used M & J Electrical for a number of jobs since and will continue to do so in the future.
I would like to express my personal thoughts on the electrical work carried out by M & J Electrical Contractors on my new home.
From making the initial appointment with the office to the electrician carrying out the work, I found to be excellent and punctual.
The electrician did an excellent job and I found him helpful and he also cleaned up after the work.
I would recommend them to anyone as I know they would be as pleased as I was.
We looked at numerous solar companies and had various quotes. By far, M and J electrical were the best for a number of reasons;
Mark is not only the business owner, but also an electrician and fitter of the system he is selling which places him in a far better position to answer any questions and offer the best advice to suit your needs. Every other company we had quotes off sent sales people who had learnt a script (sometimes badly) and couldn’t answer questions outside of their sales pitch.
M and J electrical are also unique from every other solar provider we looked at in the fact that they can offer you whatever system you want, so any combination of solar panels and inverter. All other companies had their package they wanted to offer us and there was no deviation from it. Also Mark worked out what the most efficient combination of panels and inverter were, based on our house and its orientation etc thereby maximising our return.
The sales process wasn’t pushy and the entire process was very efficient, with either Mark or Julie responding very quickly to e-mail or phone calls. The fitment date was very flexible to fit around
our availability and it was all completed well within 2 working days. During the fitting process everything was kept very clean and tidy and we are extremely happy with the finished product which
also included a solar i-boost immersion heater.
A few days after the system was installed we had an unrelated electrical fault which Mark promptly attended and fixed. He also refused payment for this despite it being nothing to do with the solar fit.
In summary, workmanship and customer service were both excellent and I have gladly recommended M and J electrical to numerous people already.
